Brian Redman's Intercontinental Events, Inc., and PCNA will host the Porsche Rennsport Reunion III at Daytona International Speedway in November, 2007. The event is open to the public and will include an unprecedented number of Porsche vintage and current racecars. There will be a three-day program of on-track competition plus a concours d'elegance, which is open to the event's participants by invitation. The event will also honor the Porsche 917 and commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the racing debut of the 956/962 prototype racers.

Porsche AG announced that the new Panamera will be built at the Leipzig Plant. The plant will be expanded significantly to handle production of the new four door car scheduled to enter the market in 2009. Investment in the new buildings and production facilities will total about 120 million Euros.

The Cayenne Turbo S debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show was very well received. The new Cayenne has 520 turbocharged horsepower (16 percent more than the 450-hp Cayenne Turbo). To handle the increased horsepower, the suspension and brakes have been beefed up, among other upgrades.
